Guo Wengui Could Attack Xi, Tout Jiang at 10/5 Talk

Fugitive Chinese tycoon Guo Wengui is due to speak today at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. after the last-minute cancellation of his Oct. 4 event at the Hudson Institute.

The 19th Party Congress will be a watershed in the Communist Party factional struggle between Xi Jinping and Jiang Zemin. Both sides will almost certainly go all out to bring down the other before the Congress.

We anticipate that Guo, who is involved in the factional struggle, will attack Xi and tout Jiang’s political influence in his 10/5 talk. Based on Guo’s earlier allegations, it is possible that he might broach the topic of affairs and illegitimate children and use this as an avenue of attack.
